Dansk skyttekung förlänger med HHC!

Helsingborgs HC är glada över att kunna meddela att Malte Kej Nielsen förlänger sitt avtal med Helsingborgs HC. Den 20-åriga forwarden kom till Helsingborg från Odense Bulldogs inför föregående säsong och med sina 16 mål var Malte Helsingborgs främste målgörare under säsongen 2023/2024.

Klubbchef Henrik Stenson om förlängningen:

”Vi är glada över att vi kommit överens med Malte om en förlängning med klubben. Det är en ung kille som under förra säsongen gjorde sin första säsong som senior. Trots detta slutade Malte i toppen av vår skytteliga. Jag är övertygad om att Malte kommer både fortsätta utvecklas i Helsingborg och va en viktig kugge i vårt lagbygge under kommande säsong”

Great to see you staying in Helsingborg, Malte! Was it an easy decision, or how did your thoughts go?

- It was an easy decision. I really enjoyed last season, so when I got the chance to stay, it was not a hard choice.

And what are your thoughts on the upcoming season?

- I believe last season was a good start for us in HockeyTvåan, so I think we have a lot to show in terms of our ability to compete at the top of the league.

Summer break is almost here. Do you have any fun plans?

- My summer is pretty boring actually, with a lot of work and preparation for the upcoming season.

Last but not least, you get to choose a song to be played during the warm-up for the upcoming season. Do you have a song that really gets you pumped?

- I think I will go with a ABBA song. Gimme Gimme Gimme (a man after midnight) by Syzz.
